Evanston Public Library

Program of Iraqi Student Project - 2 pm

600 Church St.
Evanston Illinois 60201
USA
Price: free

Kristin will open the program with some songs about displaced persons and refugees, and then the current Iraqi university students taking part in the project will speak.  In addition, there will be a short film.  This is a worthwhile, visionary project started by some peace activists to give a chance to at least a few talented, deserving Iraqi students who would otherwise not be able to go to college.
