The wind was whipping through the highrises of Uptown, and the sidewalks were slippery, but it didn't cramp our style at the People's Church show tonight - it was a wonderful and even memorable event.  The first time Joe and I had performed out together - and what an extraordinary performing partner - Joe is all there, all the time, and has a heart and voice that embrace all in their presence.  What a thrill to do harmonies on songs together ~ with an audience half of which had already taken part in an hour of Taize (singing and chanting passages from various world religious traditions), ready to wholeheartedly join us in song.

I hope we'll have a chance to do it again soon.  Joe is "Good People" and it's a privilege to share the stage with him.
